Does anyone else agree that he was the best director of all time? My top five Kubric films: 1) Barry Lyndon 2) A Clockwork Orange 3) The Shining 4) 2001 - A Space Oddyssey 5) Full Metal Jacket Thoughts, anyone?

Read the book, it's a little less cryptic! lol Basically, Dave Bowman goes through rapid evolution and becomes like the beings that use the monoliths.. it is quite confusing!

Sin City was directed by Robert Rodriguez (with Frank Miller) - Tarentino also directed one scene for $1!!! Because Rodriguez did the music for Kill Bill for a dollar! Don't know who did 300, but that was a kick-ass movie too!

I'm not a big fan of any one director, because alot seem to either be on target, or just miss completely. But i do find myself interested in whatever Guillermo del Toro is doing.

dont forgeet eli roth he's an overrated hack. Kubric though, was and will always remain a directorial genius.

"A Clockwork Orange" is highly overrated. "Full Metal Jacket" was "okay". I haven't seen the others. What about Hitchcock?
