“Friend or Foe?”


There are some that are out only for themselves.
Like they are gathering trophy’s to put upon the shelves.
Does not matter what it is once they get there mind set.
They go after it till it is there’s and never regret.
They are the one’s that to your face.
They will come up to you and even embrace.
They will act as if they were your best friend.
To them it means nothing to pretend.
As long as in the end they get what they set out to.
Does not matter to them what they have to do.
They gather their trophy’s then sit back and smile.
Over time they create a certain style.
If you sit back and watch while they play their game.
It does not matter what it is they go after they will proclaim.
They did nothing wrong it was out there for anyone to take.
To them it don’t matter whom they stab in the back.
No consciences do they have not even a small bit.
And they will surely never admit.
What they did behind ones back.
Before they come in and make their attack.
If it happens that they loose.
You will hear them loud and clear about the abuse.
Of how they suffer they just can’t understand why.
Things happen to them like this as they sit and cry.
Then they go back being all innocent others do not see.
That behind this innocence they are thinking to what degree.
And what they must do to make you think they are your friend.
Does not matter as long as they get what they want in the end.

That is so true...I know which friends I can count on and which ones to be wary of, I know which ones I care for, and which ones I will love. As for you my dear friend, I do both, so I raise my glass to give you a toast. You can always count on me Kristi to always be a friend, never a foe.
