I once knew a young boy!
He was 11 years old and his birthday was in 2 days!
The anticipation as you can imagine was very exciting!
Birthdays were always good, and he couldn't wait!

Then suddenly early the next morning the boy was awakened
By someone screaming!
Getting out of bed and very frightened, this young boy went to
investigate! The screams seemed to be coming from his parents
bedroom!

Just as this boy arrived at the door to their room the door burst open,
and the boys father rushed out and went straight to the phone! The boy
left in the hall by hisself, the boy went quitely into his parents room.
The screaming had stopped and on the bed lay his mother. Starring as if
in a trance at the ceiling! Momma, momma the little boy whispered as he
went to her side! Without turning her head or changing the
expressionless stare at the ceiling, the boy felt his mother gently
squeeze his hand as if to say evrything is okay! Suddenly the boy was
pushed out of the way as the rescue ppl rushed in and began their job!

Well, the next day the boys birthday, was not the same as birthdays
usually were! Instead the boy just wished that god would bring his
mother home. He didn't really need that new bike anyway! All day he
waited, finally his father came home but he was alone. The boys eyes
filled with tears and he began to shake as he realized the truth of the
scenario!

Never again, even when this boy grew into a man, were holidays to bring
the joy of anticipation! Only the dread and knowing that even the best
and most joyful day can turn into your worst!
So please ppl be careful this holiday season and know that some one
elses joy might depend upon the lived ones that are there to share it
with them!

Fanta I for one shall not criticize.
There are any number of drunk drivers out there this time of year. They
don't realize that their actions do just as you said. Affect not only
themselves and those they may strike or cause to be injured but the
countless others around the victims.
Those who are depressed at this time of year cause the same ripple
effect with their actions.

What you wrote was well stated and should be remembered.

Hey, holidays are happy for some and very sad for others! I myself do
not like Christmas for my own reasons BUT I won't rain on anyone elses
parade! I just try to remember the true meaning of Christmas and get
through it for that reason! God Bless and don't give Fanta a hard
time...remember, we all post how we feel :)

Be careful everyone, and lets hope teardrops loved ones do not have to
suffer a loss during this holiday season! Whatever religion you are
please say a prayer for her and her family!
