would you support assisted suicide/right-to-die legislation or not?

no if they want to do it that bad they can do it themselves but i think it is sad they feel the need to do so even with illness. life is a treasure even if the end may be bleek. i held my dads hand as he died he had cancer and he knew it was coming but he let nature run its course so to speak and well thats all

All depends on how the legislation was written. Under certain circumstances I believe assisted suicide is ok.

i would. we put our pets to sleep so they dont have to feel pain. why dont we do it for our human loved ones? i dont think that if some perfectly healthy person wants to die should be able to. but if you have a terminal disease or are in constant pain. im all for it.

Man you can't do a post like that!!!! I don't know what to say!!! You actually STUMPED ME!!!!! Number 1 I HATE seeing people suffer!!!! My grandmother is suffering right now because her brain is dying and they can't do anything for her but, on the other hand if they are suffering too bad and if you're asked to pull the plug...would you do it????? For my grandmother.....yes, I would pull it and so would the rest of my family cause she's like a vegetable now.....and it makes me sad..... Number 2 An assisted suicide in my book is MURDER ONE!!!! I know it sounds harsh but, it is!!! People suffer and I KNOW IT'S HORRIBLE but, hey, gotta go by the law....pulling the plug is different though....you're not assisting a suicide cause the person doesn't even know what's going on....I dont' think it's the same thing anyway....some people might have different opinions.....It's a very touchy subject though.....In my eyes....

I'll say only this, those people who say no have never been in real pain. I'm talking the 100x worse than being shot pain.

well first of all the right to die and assisted suicide would not be like oh I am pissed my girlfriend dumped me, so I am going to kill myself thing ,, it would be for those that have no quality of life left so let's distinguish those things ..

My grandmother (my LAST grandparent alive) is a vegetable right now....she doesn't even know what's going on around her....she's got hospice taking care of her now cause she can't......thank you for your prayers....I will let my family know....
