I have done that before and it didn't turn out good....I wouldn't have met him if he had a pic and it looked like he did... But then I have met guys with pics and I would wonder how old the pic truly was. So it goes both ways...but definately get a pic first.

no i wouldnt and i would want to see them on a web cam too..because i have seen pictures and they have turned out not to be them as well!!

It depends solely on their personality! You meet different people, shapes, sizes everyday....going for coffee should not be a big deal.....

I agree... I think if you're going to get involved with internet dating, you should invest in some pics that actually look like you and a webcam is always good to have

I agree to a point, but if you already know that you are not attracted to this person, or he / she isn't your type... you could spare yourself a bad date

this is a gray area-

if my profile was sans pics, and another pic-less member wanted to meet, then i'd probably do it as it's nothing more than a blind date.

however- since my profile DOES have pics, i would expect for the other party to have pics as well. and NOT pics stolen from some modeling website, either. it's not about vanity or shallowness, either- if i've taken the time to put up pics of myself, then i'd expect for the other person to do so as well, as it's kind of a measure of trust. and you simply can't trust someone if they know what YOU look like, but you don't know what THEY look like.

I totally agree... I ask because I was talking to someone that wants to meet but doesn't have ANY pics at all, he has seen mine. I don't feel comfortable not knowing what I am walking into..

BRAVO!!! yes its true there has to be trust and if they cant show you their pic then its obvious they are hiding something.we are who we are.doesnt matter what we look like show a picture...not every one is perfect and we shouldnt try to be either..be yourself and be proud of who youare!!

ask him to cam with you..to be honest there is no reason for not getting a picture these days..camera fones,webcams take fotos..its so easy so i wouldnt buy the excuse i havent got one..thats crap!!

yea... I don't wanna give him my # yet so a cam phone wouldn't help ( tho he said he doesn't have one) and he doesn't have internet at home, so no cam...

i actually ment you can take fotos with your mobile fone and download it..dont tell me he hasnt got a mobile?? thats is aload of crap if he says that!! just be careful love..i would take a wide berth from this guy if it was me!!
