Topic: Would you convert to Scientology | |

Woohoo... This is off to a good start.
I would never under any circumstance convert to scientology. I would rather piss glass or strangle myself with my own intestines than convert to scientology. I am happy with my religion. |

all I can say is that I wouldn't convert to anything for anyone. I accept people for they are and I want someone that accepts me the way I am without trying to "fix" me. I'm not broken... My thoughts exactly. If someone is trying to change you, they obviously think something is wrong with you. I would never try to change anyone and expect the same courtesy in return. |

Im not making this stuff up !! Thats why this is so difficult. The local Holiness church controls the entire political establishment. They dress differently. They kick people out. They did not allow the sell of alcohol until recently They tell you to stay away from family and friends that are not members. They pray and post their religious doctrines everywhere including the courthouse and the jail and schools. All of the local officials are part of the same church. You must not know a lot about the bible belt.
Do you live in Utah, by any chance? |

Mirror it sounds like you live in cult central. A real church understands that God gave us free will and will let us do as we wish whilst reminding us that our actions have consequences.

Big Curt is so right. This isn't classified as a religion if you really study it. It's psychological crap. The endgrams are events in your past lives that causes your reactions to today's events. Members go through counseling sessions for mind corrections that hopefully produce different responses. I dated a member, didn't take long to put my running shoes on.

Mirror it sounds like you live in cult central. A real church understands that God gave us free will and will let us do as we wish whilst reminding us that our actions have consequences. My brother and I and one aunt are the only Christians in my family that I know of. As long as I am not breaking any laws, my mother doesn't care what I do. |

Ok I am about to get seriously pissed mirror. I do not go around bashing other peoples religions. just because the church where you live is like that does not mean churches are like that world wide. i have been to some very nice churches. dont go bashing something until you fully understand it.
