I met a man on JSH a few months ago. We have emailed everyday and he has been hesitant to talk on the phone. I honestly had feelings for him and he said he did for me. Then today he tells me it is all a lie. Every word he said, his profile, his photo...all fake. I am heart broken and sad. In addition I feel pretty foolish. I am taking myself off the sight. Is this something that happens alot?

Honestly, you should expect it on any dating websites. But, you would rarely see this happen unless you snag the wrong guy. I am so sorry this happened to you. Everybody here is really nice. I am new at this. I quess you do not know who you are really talking to unless you meet. I am surprised how sad I am. It is a shame that someone would do something so mean. He said he had to tell me the truth because he was starting to care about me. I know I should not have but he even has my phone number. I am slightly frightened. I guess it is a hard lesson to learn.
