News items regarding rate increases The next increase will occur on May 12, 2008. Stamps to Cost a Penny More. Mailing a letter will soon cost a penny more. The cost of a first-class stamp will rise to 42 cents starting May 12, the U.S. Postal Service said Monday. The price of the Forever stamp will go up at the same time, meaning those stamps can still be purchased for 41 cents but will remain good for first-class postage after the rate increase takes effect. USPS to up postage cost in May. The US Postal Service has announced several rate increases to its First-Class Mail, Standard Mail, Periodicals, Package Services and Special Services. The increases will take effect on May 12. Mailing a letter will cost a penny more starting in May. It's time to start stocking up on those Forever stamps. i watched an episode of how it's made, they showed how a stamp is made. a very complicated and detailed process. all along i couldn't help but wonder how much cheaper they'd be if they didn't put pictures and crap on them but just put the value.

People want to see the pictures though.......they look for diversity in their mailings and we try to come up with subjects that interst the customers. That would be like saying, jus have one color of material for clothes to be made of, not everyone will like that color.

Stamp collecting is a very big hobby and there have to be a certain number of petitions and votes before the design is approved.
And I don't think most people will buy a stamp of a wolf eating a baby. |

if y'all wanna hear something REAL retarded. Canada Post has been trying to get the gov't to allow them to charge 5 cents per e-mail, sent AND received. Bastards are lazy enough and NOW they want to be paid for something they don't even do
