Whoever here hates telemarketers, go online at www.donotcall.gov, that will end it for a really long time!(forever)!

I like em, they call and try and sell me stuff...so I try and sell my old sneaker (only one) to them for 30 bucks...or my old jacket (with a missing sleeve)...I gotta get rid of these things.

I haven't had that problem because I only have a cell phone...not a house phone. But, I do hate telemarketers. They can be a pain.

well I dont answer my home phone too often but...........
when they call I tell them to call back when I know I am gone
sometimes I even hand the phone to my daughter or neice and they talk to them..that really pisses them off

I have also been known to ask them for a # to call them back.

but I am so glad that I dont have that problem of my own!

lead em on. tell them about an imaginary problem. why rubbers don't fork, ask them about their personal life....sometimes i've made good friends with this, which is even cooler.

I still get all the local crap..
& I've been on the list & re checked it again.

They need to expand that to include a political do not call and even a charity do not call list.

They can be entertaining...
I had one cal, a young lady, and as soon as I said "Hello" she was off! My natural reaction to hang up was overcome by my fascination of her speaking speed. She was fast! Apparently tired of getting hangups, her approach was to speak as quickly as she could in hopes of getting the whole thing out. For nearly a minutes I listened, transfixed by her skill, wondering if she even took a breath. When she finished, I waited a second, said "That sounds great, but could you repeat that?"

With a BIIIIG intake of air, she dove in again. I hung up 10 seconds later. i wasn't THAT fascinated!

boy o boy..... them telemarketers sure do piss people off don't they.....

It dosen't really stop them.

Best way to take care of it is to ask them nicely to please take your # off their call list and just hang up....by law they have to remove it. Our little secret....lol

I really get mad when I'm all cranky & telling them to take us off your list & it's a computor..
