Topic: NFL rookie of the year | |

What about Maroney? He has been a big help to me on my fantasy football
team. |

I love you mimi!!!! ;) How could we forget about him??

As far as defensive..... DeMeco Ryans from Houston is actually leading
the league in tackles, so.......... |

YEH IT WAS DEMECO

Maybe they should have drafted him as the #1 pick huh??? HA HA HA!!!!

I think it's funny that Reggie Bush (#2 overall Draft Pick) isn't even
considered the Rookie with the biggest impact on the Saints because of Marcus Colston (#252 overall Draft Pick) 1 - Colston 2 - Hester 3 - Young 4 - Jones (Marice-Drew) 5 - Addia 6 - Bush 7 - Maroney 8 - Leinart I think it comes down to Colston and Hester because they are busting out on dominant teams as Rookies (where Young & Leinart are playing on teams that suck and won't make the playoffs and all the RB's are splitting time as RB's). Going to be a big surprise when Drew Brees wins the MVP this season for the NFC, lmao...I bet that New Orleans fans are thanking God the Culpepper signed with Miami..eh? lol |

i think colston has had the best year by far over any other rookie but i
think vince young will win because of the quality of the team he is on and the way that he as a rookie QB has led them back in the 4 qtr to win the game. when you think about how the team was playing before he got the start and how they are playing and winning now, he'll get the award. colston is great and i think he should get it but i'm figuring that too many people will attribute his stats to the fact that his team has so many weapons on offense that the other teams defense just can't cover them all, which they can't. what the hell are we looking at if their offense keeps it together for a few years? lol |

Actually us Saints fans are extremely happy that the Miami Dolphins
doctors weren't not totally sold on Brees shoulder injury. Being a Saints fan we haven't had a lot to be happy about throughout our 40 year history... just won our 3 rd division title ever! I still gotta go with Vince Young for rookie of the year... but there's a reason why Colston is having a big year. Defensive coordinators are so worried about Reggie and minimizing his big play ability. Maurice Jones Drew would be my second choice. |

You have to go with Devin Hester. He has won at least 3 games for the
bears this yr. W/O him they would not have home field advantage. He's set records. Its such a great yr for rookies. Another guy who deserves some rec. is the lineman from san diego i can't think of his name right now, but lineman never get enough credit. |

Colston on the Saints has helped make a loser team into one of the
strongest teams in the NFL. Colston is setting all kinds of Rookie Records for a WR and he's a #1 WR on a Team (something Randy Moss wasn't and struggled to do effectively after Chris Carter left the Vikings). How much better is the Bears record this season than last season? I can see either getting it though... |

Devin Hester

I gotta go with Colston.
I still gotta go with Maroney, even though his sorry a** has been
injured for the last few couple of weeks. |
Mimi, he's not injured: Watch the NFL Channel, he's in the Dog house and
Billick is Pissed off at him. Maroney's been sayong for two weeks now he's fine... |
if you vote purely on stats it has to be colston but if it is who made
the bugger contribution to the team i think it's a tie between colston and young. |
I unfortunatly don't get the NFL channel due to the fact that I have no
cable. Sucks. |
i didn't know if it was a coaches game or what because i had him on my
fantasy team and i kept hearing that he hafd a bad back and a concussion but then he played a game and he hasn't played since but he said in an interview that he was fine, i don't get it. |
