Reading this over does touch a lot of what should be so freely given. For me what found out is I pay attention to detail on what a women might want and know how to give it. Not a lot men do, they just like to keep thing short and simple and that don't cut it. To give to Women/men mean your inner self, your whole being. Sometimes you have to give a little more for things to go foward. People have come on here and said if we know so much about relationships, then why are we single. For me and ill say it again. I'm more then most women can handle. Waht i mean about that, I know what I want and looking for. I'm real but most of all i'm real with me and that is where it starts. My ex to this day can't look into my eyes because she wasn't being real with herself. Whats this is all about is actually showing the other that your with that your there for them 100% but what most people don't know is, it's fine being there 100% but you have to let the other make there own choices and let them met you to that half way point if not more. exactly. you have to have 100% but you also have to let the other be an individual. if you lose that all you have is an empty shell. that is what i had become. now i am slowly filling back up. |

thanks for speaking up. i was in a marriage where i was abused mentally and emotionally. and it has taken me several years to get back to the girl i was before. woman dont get the respect nore credit that u all truly deserve,I know of a few woman whom were abused in which I had both men put in jail over it,thats something I wont stand for and never will.I am glad to hear u was able to get over that I do know thats not something easy to forget nore get over 
well he never physically abused me because he knew he would be dead if he ever did that. but i still have moments when i don't feel like i amount to much but it is a slow process that last guy I seen who did this went to jail,but went to jail with a busted knee.I hear u even if it was physical it still done damage,thats what I hate the most is they bring woman down to nothing,to where they feel they can do nothing more,or get into any thing better so they stay,and it kills me to see this you become empty and depressed. nothing you do can match up to anybody. not just him. you become afraid of disappointing everyone. you become someone you were never meant to be. |

I wish more men would get there heads right There is an up side to all things OC.. The upside to this is they have a benchmark to compare the rest of us to. So.. maybe you might be careful what ya wish for. |

oc, shadow, and jtitol, and poetry, thanks so much guys. it makes me feel better to know that there are still good guys out there....after coming out of a bad emotionally abusive marriage, i was pretty darn bitter and wondered if all guys were like my jerk ex..i am finding out rather quickly that not all guys are like him! thanks guys for bringing a smile to my face.
