I am hooked on the rock..... climbing that is.. it is not just about getting to the top , it is about being single focal in a multitasking world, next hand hold. The next foot hold is all that matters, and much like life it is the journey not the destination that matters. This forum is about your own personal zen what is it ? Come on lets talk ....

I just get up and walk....and walk and walk...it gives me time to my self....and to think and to mull things over...its really nice...its completly aimless and i just go where ever my feet take me, and dont think about it...its great for when i get mad...i just walk away..and keep walking..untill i'm calm. Exactly it is like when I am climbing I am not worried if I am good enough, or if my butt is getting too big it is just about holding on to that wall or boulder.. exactly...for me its not about anything..i dont worry about if i screwed up with some one...or anything..i let my mind wander and its all about one foot in front of the other... i would try rock climbing...but i'm terrified of hights well then...i guess i might have to try it one day...soon |

When I play the drums....It takes me to a different world. I love to slap on the headphones and just play along to different songs and keeps my mind focused on drumming....rather than life.... then that is what you should do ... |
