i never thought much about the mutual matches so i just checked mine.....only 6 of the 15 live close enough for me to date....i contacted two of them....the first one never returned my email....the second one i just contacted yesterday & she did reply, but frankly it doesn't look to be going anywhere....so i guess its not been much or a help....there are 4 others but more like Maybes & these days i am not up for a Maybe.....

You never know what a maybe might be. I have more people out of my state but I love a good road trip!

Its all about patience...you can't rush into anything, and if you so eager to have someone in your life, I suggest you either start email people, OR go to the matchmaking thread..Feral is good at what she does!!

I have a mutual match! One person said they want to meet me! Wooohooo I said! Oh, then it turns out the person that wants to meet me is about 200 miles away, okay, no problem. That's not THAT far, right? So I look... .hey, wait a minute, it says she only accepts mail from people 50 miles away! Nice. Oh well.....<shrug>

Ok so you want to hear something funny??? No?? Well I'm going to tell you anyway so there!!
Ok first of all I have 32 "Mutual Matches" I would have more but I deleted about 10 of em...I wondered the same thing but I would anitiate conversation and they never responded so you know what I said??? Thats right "Fu** em" I don't need them there and they chose me...Hahahaha thats a funny one!!
Now I have met several guys on here and have talked to them on the phone or yahoo but it just wasn't going anywhere so guess what I did??? Right again I said "Fu** em"!!
Now here is the real interesting part, I have had my eye on this one guy for like 2mnths but I never said anything to him cus I was either shy or a little intimitated cus he was very, very handsome and very smart and very intelectual. So I never spoke up!! I would see him a lot in the forums and drop little hints and flirts but nope..nothing. Then a couple of days ago I guess I said the right things because he emailed me and we have been talking ever since!!
Come to find out we have a lot in common and we both got out of long term relationships so we both want to take it slow and see where it goes, he also lives long distance from me and that doesn't bother us!! I am not disclosing his name or screen name cus it is not necessary to do so and I don't want to scare him off...so I guess my advice would be the same as everyone elses just stick to the forums and become a junkie like us and soon fate comes your way and hit you like a freight train!!
