I have started dating again after my divorce. I waited a while to get back in the swing of things. When I have that mutual match how can I overcome my shyness and email someone?
I would like it if they would email me but that normally does not happen. Any suggestions? |

just be yourself... There's no reason to be shy. If someone isn't interested in talking to you, who cares? You don't even know them lol
Just don't take it so seriously. Be yourself, have fun, enjoy, and I have no doubt you will meet some great people. |

If you see someone's profile and there's something in there that interests you, send them a message that says I just wanted to say hello. I noticed in your profile that blah blah blah... Most times if you end with a question, you will get a response. Just remember to have fun....you are always friends before you're a couple...

Just e-mail them,be yourself, if you don't get a response, then try again. Even if you don't find that certian someone your bound to make some friends. Good Luck

Your best friend if you don't look at them in the Way you are looking at them right now then you won't Be shy Besides that just post and chat in the forums More it will help you out get out there like you are Doing right now

come out in the forums and before you know it you will be meeting people and emailing back and forth and see where it goes from there .. take it slow .. and if that doesn't do it just do what the guys do and look at thier pics and go hey nice_________________

I know exactly what you are talking about, I am so shy when I do try to talk to someone, I stutter, forget what I was talking about, start to sweat, hehe I turn into a mess..I even get that way when I post or reply to a topic on here.. OK well i was no help at all...I guess just lettin ya know it affects alot of us..

Yep, that's what I do. I usually just say hi and ask a question…If I don't get a response, they aren't worth my time. Just do it. Can't hurt. Remember that there ARE no consequences when e-mailing someone. |
