If You Only Knew
If you only knew what went through my head As i toss and turn, bound to my bed Visions of you, a smile sweeping your face All these thoughts i could never erase Your arms locked close around me keeping my heart warm Gazing into your pale eyes, i'm miles from the storm If you only knew how my heart sings From all the light your presence brings You touch my hand and my heart is gripped My guard is down and from my cares i am stripped But i believe deep down your heart won't call Then i'll have to recover from this final fall If you only knew how i long to say "Your all i love through the night and day." With my heart pounding fast and hands in a shake Knowing with this secret my heart you could break Your paralyzing stare steal my intention So i guess my love will never reach mention |

Oh, the love that we never mention, sometimes I think that is so pleasuable to cherish. Even without it, its something that is special.

Thanks friends, but I can't take the credit.
This was written by my 16 year old daughter. She is an awesome writer and wanted to get some feedback. She is entering this poem in a contest. So much heart for one so young. |
