Young Patrick was playing with his new toy in the bath, and really enjoying the sensation, when his mother walked in.
“Patrick stop that at once, if you keep on doing that you’ll go blind.
And I’ll warn you now, later on there’ll be girls who’ll want you to put that somewhere, but you must never do it.”
“Why not? What’ll happen?”
“Well they have teeth in there, and if you put your thing inside, they’ll bite it off !”

Patrick grows up as an attractive enough young man, but not unsurprisingly, never goes all the way with a girl despite many opportunities. One night however his girlfriend at the time inveigled him into going back to her apartment and set about some serious seduction. However even when at last in bed together and both naked, Patrick will not take the final step despite a very obvious interest on the part of his body.

“What is it Patrick? Don’t you like me? Wouldn’t you like to?”
“Yes I like you fine, but my mam warned me about girls and what you’ll do if I carry on.”
“What on earth do you mean Patrick?”
“I know you have teeth down there, and if I push my thing in, you’ll bite it off.”
“Don’t be silly Patrick, of course we don’t. Would you like to have a look?”
She pushes the young man’s head down and opens herself wide to scrutiny. Patrick takes a nervous look, then a better one and exclaims ;

“Well no you haven’t Mary. But I’m not surprised, would you look at the state of your gums!”
