I'm really getting tired of people posting 20 or so poems a day. Poetry should be part of you, not just words strung together on a whim and thrown out for everyone to see.

People with their main pictures as sunsets, landscapes, or other useless drivel is annoying too. It'd be amusing at times to see a funny picture, like a guy f'in a sheep next to a cliff or a drunk tagged with magic markers and dressed up in women's clothing.

And this whole rate my profile thing is just getting way outta hand. Look, you want someone to look at your profile and say nice things, well, of course they are. Not like someone's gonna say, "Wow, you're so not dateable, you're rather boring, and your mother dresses you funny." I'd rather jump onto a pile of thumb tacks and then jump into a pool filled with rubbing alcohol than look at another "Rate my profile" thread.

Anyway, I'm gonna go have a beer and ponder life, the universe and everything. And see if I can make the number 42 make sense.

Venting complete and I feel much better.

Blcok out the poetry post in your preferences...Maybe then life will be a little easier for you

I changed my settings to only see the posts I care to see.. It's been a beautiful thing!!!

Humm well since they give you and option now to not see the threads that seems to bother some so much. All one has to do is go to settings click on forum settings. Then get happy and take the check mark off on the ones that seem to get under your skin. Then wham bam they are gone you will not see them any more.

As far as poetry hummm I post in there on a regular basis I don't recall that anyone at anytime have there hands tied behind there back to read any of the post. Hummm but not a bad ideal

And when I do write it is on a whim for that is how they come to me. And yes I do post mine as I write them not saying mine are any good for there are many many that are outstanding and are very good writers. My self I do enjoy reading them.

I myself don't have a problem with the amount of poems posted by anyone person. If I want to read them I open them up and read them if I chose not to that is my choice. But don't see where anyone should stop posting just because of my opinion.

It is so much easier to just pass the threads up that bother me or I feel are not what I would prefer to read. Then complain about them for everyone has the right to speak there mind just as well as you do about this matter.

I'm sure there are a lot that feels the same way as you do but that is you alls opinion. Awww you have yours I have mine they have there's and it just so happens we are all here.

So just pass up the ones that get on your nerves.
