Thoughts

Lying on a blanket neath a moonlit sky,
Staring to the heavens as I begin to cry.
My mind is never lonely,
I imagine that it's weird,
For one to create fake voices
That chase away all fear.
My life is always happy,
Though sometimes it hasn't been,
It's when those thoughts come creeping,
The voices move right in.
My heart is always giving,
It never counts the cost,
Sometimes it takes a giving
To replace what's lost.
I often gaze and wonder
What the stars may say,
I know they've had the chance
To see me as I lay.

I guess my heart just has a lot to say after healing and being silent for so long.

When your heart speaks,,,I sit and Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh such beauty pours from pen to paper .....

We're on the same thought wave here. Except, I'm rolling around thoughts about if the "I" eliminated self and put others first, would the "I" still exist. How then would the "I" be defined? Care to play with this one, Faded? I'd be interested to see where you take it.

If "I" eliminated self, technically elimination would be the cut n dry, ceasing to be. Since you continued with the addage of putting others first, then it would seem that the "I" would still exist to serve the others that "I" put first. So, therefore understanding which place "I" has now been placed, "I" can be defined as the servant to the others that were put first.

Now if "I" wasn't being spoken of and instead there was an "l". Then we'd have an elliptical shape, though misspelled. Thus signifying that if "l" would let the others first, we'd understand that "l" was kind enough to give us a picture of eternity by accepting his place behind the others. For you see, l's friends wouldn't let it go and they made it stay to prove that once again "l" is needed to complete the thought or picture.

So technically speaking, both meanings are the same, just cast in different light.

I have many many thoughts on that....lol

If "I" eliminated self and put others first
Then "I" would exist but then "I" would stand
in the shadows of others, thus faded in the shadows of others.

Perhaps, but without the light of the faded one, the others would remain in shadow.
