...one of the big problems of the moon landing conspirisy theory Is the
part where if you believe it you are in effect calling a bunch of
Astraunauts ( who were national heroes at the time) Lyars. I Cant do
that without some really heavy evidence. ALL SUCH MYTHS HAVE BEEN
BUSTED. Example... why are there no stars in the moon photographs? must
be fake pics... Not. There are no stars in the sky because it was
daytime on the moon. Do you see stars in the daytime on earth?

... then theres the waving flag footage. no atmosphere=no wind =no way
the flag could be waving.
NOT.
They were having trouble planting the flag and were manipulating the
pole trying to get it into the soil. Thus the flag movements caught on
film. The lunar soil was about 2" of powder on top of bedrock, so you
can see what a problem it would be to plant a flag pole in the ground.

More trivia.... The Astraunauts said that when they re-entered the
Lunar Module, The soil on thier suits smelled like gunpowder.

.... couldent have survived the radiation in the van allen belts so
there is no way they would have survibed the trip.
NOT.
The time they spent in the Van allen belts would have gave tham a dose
of about 1 rem, or three times the annual dose of radiation we all
recieve here on earth from natural sources in a year. Not a significant
amount of radiation. It takes about 200 rems to effect the human body in
any way. ( at least short term effects)About 600 rems is a lethal dose
in 1/2 of the patients.

I think people who were not around at the time dont realise what a huge
effort it was. It was an all out 10 year national effort, Waste anything
but time was one of thier mottos. I REMEMBER A LOT ABOUT IT FOR SOME
REASON.

i KNOW A GUY THAT WAS AT A SATURN v MOON LAUNCH and he said it sounded
like the sky was being torn apart. (which it was)
The Saturn V was the loudest thing made by man except for a nuclear
explosion.

The ist stage burned 15 tons of fuel per second. (making the rocket 15
tons lighter every second) Liquid ox and Kerosene fuel. I know a guy
that built the fuel lines for the ist stage... 38 feet long and 38" in
diameter, turned on the worlds largest lathe from a solid piece of
stainless steel. Parsons Plant #1 in Traverse City. The building is now
a trade school.

yah the live pics were real blurred and grainy, in Black and white. The
good color photos you see were taken there and brought back to be
devloped. THE HASSELBAND CAMERA WAS USED IN THE EARLY DAYS THRU SKYLAB.
I also remember the NASA ANIMATIONS showing the progress of the Apollo
craft as well as the Lunar Module. Obviously they had to use animations
as who would be there to film??? only God and ET I GUESS.
SKYLAB WAS BUILT FROM AN UNUSED 3RD STAGE SATURN V SECTION. One fuel
tank was used for the habitat, and the smaller tank was used for storing
trash.

Problems in space--- the sun is pounding on one side of the spaceship
and the other is in the dark because it creates its own shade. +240
degrees in the sun and absolute zero in the shade.. -240 degrees. That
kind of temp difference would tear the ship apart. Solution, They would
implement the "Barbecue roll" where the ship rolled aroud its center
axis to dissapate the temp difference.
The Apollo capsule was made from two layers of Stainles steel with a
honeycomb structure between the layers.
The LM was built so thin to save weight that an astraunaut could have
kicked a hole in it in places... twice the thickness of tin foil.
