bbq ribs are the best man. my step dad makes chili with some canned
mexican tomatoes you get from the store but they have been canned with jalepenos already. adds a nice spice to them and you can go back and add something else later if it's not enough |

Rotel tomatoes are the shit man I think that's what you call them, the
secret to that awesome cheese dip, speaking of cheese, you can add chili to the cheese dip if you wanna get serious, |

I have several, the one I always do
Russian potato salad. peal potatoes and boil when soft cut in small peices, cut white onions in small peices, boiled eggs cut also, caned beets cut also in small peices add olive oil, little vinegar and mayo to taste make sure the potatoes have salt when boiled. mix all together and you have Russian potato salad the amount of onions is half cup to 3 pounds of potatoes and 3 to 4 eggs 2 table spoons of olive oil one table spoon of vinegar and one can of beets, you can modify the amount of potatoes and eggs as you wish as well as beets and onions |

Oh I got one more this really works, take a turkey, take a clean steel
rod drive into ground, but turkey on rod, cover completely with real mayonase (the mayonase made me remember), get a new small metal garbage can, that fits over turkey, put charcoals on top of can and all around base, light coals and cook for about 2 hours, and you will have the best most moist gholden turkey you have ever tasted for real, I did it twice worked perfect! |

stuffed peppers, will usually make about 15, 3 pounds hamburger, one
pound hot sausage, one egg, one can tomatoes and two or three bunches of green onions finely chopped tops and all. bake at 350 degrees usually about two hour. when about half baked, pour on the tomato sauce, a rule of thumb one can for each pound of meat. almost missed it when you are mixing the ingredients, add one package of meatloaf seasoning. |

I have a couple of good recipes I could share for desserts:
Pear bars - canned bartlett pears, walnuts and coconut. and Zucchini fruit bars, raisins, coconut, walnuts, and dried fruit, wonderful, moist and chewy. Let me know if you are interested, I will share these recipes. Also have a great barbecue sauce from a 1952 cookbook I could dig up is someone wants it. |
