Life After.......

Thunder crashes and tears fall like rain,
Slamming the door, my heart feels the pain.
Walking away, what else can I do?
Your heart turned to ice, you tell me we're through.
Another game, you play with our life,
You stab me again, your words form the knife.
My mind consciously dies as you tell me to leave
Being forsaken, what else can be reaved?
You give me no choice, your hate fills your soul,
The poison runs deep, you hate me I know.
Have you no love, was our marriage a lie
Do you expect me to lay here and die?
What you have done is darkest of sins
Bringing to witness, your closest of kin.
Denying before me the love we once knew
Accuse me of cheating, you know that's not true.
I would have left if you told me outright
That you didn't love me get out of your sight.
Now that I'm gone, you've no one to blame
For all of your strife and pain that you claim.
Thank God that it's over, I've learned to forgive,
Through all the rough times and sadness I lived.
Life gained much meaning as I let my heart mend
Love took a chance but life cannot not end.

thats great it reminds me of my exhusband but now i am happy to have gotten rid of him

Good write what is so bad when another accuse the other of cheating 90% of the time it is because they are cheating instead sad but true. But we must learn to forgive in order to move on in life.

When love is no longer there...why try to keep something that is useless..LET IT GO...as the old saying goes...If you love something,...Good write Spirit...I hate to see that happened in your life. Same here. But, I forgave, I moved on and I feel a whole lot better now. I have my future ahead of me to be looking forward to with you know who....
