Topic: IM not working

I tried to IM a friend here and all I got was a click. Then a window dropped down saying that a site member wanted to contact me. NOTHING. Any ideas?

i dont even know how to use im. can any clue me in on that If you go to the persons profile and click on where it says 'IM this user' That's on the far right next to email, add as friend etc.
