Im not in love. I never have been. And i dont intend on ever falling in love. The movies make it seem AMAZING... But in real life someone always has to get hurt... And i wont let a man make me cry... So, again, nope im not in love...

Let me be clear here for a moment, cause it seems that people read alot into the things I say. To me, love is something that grows. You can love anyone as a friend, or like how you love you family. But to "fall in love".......that takes time, and right now, even with me being with someone, I have no idea if I am going to "fall in love". I can see the potential there, but I truly believe that it takes time to really fall in love with someone. I said this before in another thread, and I will say it again. Love is a word that is used to loosely. We simply do not understand what it truly means to be in love with someone. We don't. We have great sex with someone, oh...I must be in love. We connect, and things are going great, but I have only known this person for like two weeks. Oh, I have to be in love. Go out on one date, it goes well....oh hell, gotta be in love now. Point is, we don't get what love is. And that is a shame cause there was a time when being in love with someone truly meant....being in f*cking love with that person. We are so consumed with ourselves nowadays that everything is about "ME". Divorce rates are high, infidelity is so common that my 7 year old nephew asked me about it. WTF????? What the hell is wrong with this world that a 7 year old asks about something he heard about at elementary school?
Anyways....Love is a great thing people...when you truly find it, it is f*cking awesome as all get out. That feeling of being appreciated, respected, feeling the warmth of your partner, knowing that he/she wants to be with you, enjoying being silly together, and enjoying time a part but still missing one another, and also enjoying sex with one another.....yeah....Love can be a freaking fabulous thing people. |
