Hey this came up at work. growing old, All the woman that was there said its not fair that men get better looking with age. and woman seem to fall apart. one said if she could turn back time she would be in her 20's.....now the men say that young woman are hot and beautiful. but they would rather have a woman that is more mature beacause most young females, know there hot and cant handle a relationship..I was bias. I find everyone beautiful but thats me..I think beauty comes from the heart..Im not saying the out side isnt beautiful but inner soul.. is what makes a person beautifful....so this is the question do men get better looking then woman when the start to age. I disagree but Id like to here your comments.

i disagree too ..everyone ages differently, wether your male or female ...its al to do with genes and how you look after yourself...but at the end of the every goes south or falls of eventually

I disagree, we (guys) don't look better when we age. Girls look better and better as they get more mature not old.

Genetics can be a b*tch. I have seen beautiful older women and handsome older men. Just depends on lots of circumstances.

Its hard to say. My best friend looks the same at 30 as he did when we met when he was 20. Still a sexy boy
I on the other hand havent aged as gracefuly over the years.

I think it's about genes as much as it's about how you take care of yourself. In my family generally everyone looks young for their age, but there are those in the family that smoked or drank (too much everyday) or did drugs and they look older than everyone else. So even with genetics on your side you still have to do your part.

I look like I (24) should be in high school my mom (44) looks like she should be in college and my grandma (67) looks too young to be a grandma. So I guess that's just the way it goes.

I love getting older and wearing my badges of honor (wrinkles and such)

And I do believe people, male and female, look better with age.

Just my opinion.

just heard on tv this morning that there was a study where they looked at ppls cells and ppl who exercise actually have younger cells so it's not just a matter of looks it is also how our bodies age and resist disease. I think it's not only in our genetic makeup but how we take care of ourselves.

I know I look waaaaaaaaaay younger than my actual age because people are always surprized that Im not 28-30..........weird Ive been cursed with a young look ever since I can remember.......

BUT .. one of the many reasons I date younger men is because I am told constantly I look about 15 years than my age. So why would I want to date guys that look 15 years OLDER than what I look like?

Instead I date a decade and many times, 2 decades younger.

Now I have to say that men look more distinguished with the grey hair. But h*ll .. I don't EVAAAAAAAAAAH plan on showing grey hair .. even if I had it. Which I don't.

That's the only thing I see in older men that seems really complimentary. In fact I think most guys even a decade younger than I am LOOK about 10 years OLDER than I am.
