i watch my two year old cousin 7 days a week i love him to death but most of the time i want to choke him...he gets into everything, he talks back, he hits me, he's out of control i can hardly take it and on top of it i have a 6 month old who is teething my house is a wreck and it seems to never get cleaned theres food everywhere and i still live with my parents and all they do is yell at me like i don't do anything and i do have a job...so im pretty busy....but are all 2yr olds this way?

MOST ARE BUT THEN SOUNDS LIKE NO ONE TEACHING HIM RESPECT, SHOULDN'T LET HIM HIT AN TALK BACK, HE IS OLD ENOUGH TO LEARN TO CLEAN UP AFTER HE DONE PLAYING OR EATING, SOMEONE NEEDS TEACH HIM SOME RULES AN MANNERS.

thats what i think but i think thats mainly his parents need to teach him...i try but he doesn't want to show me respect

He will treat you how you teach him to treat you. Tell him when his mom is not there and you are that he has to follow your rules. Make sure that you reinforce the behavior you expect from him. Reward for good behavior and punishment for bad behavior. Nose in corner worked really well as an alternative to spanking. Since he is not your child you may not want to spank him.

Hi-It sounds like you have your hands full. No all 2 year olds are not this way..I have 3 grandchildren age 3 age 2 and age 11months...the 3 year old is very laid back and understands words tht adults dont understand and the 2 year old is like your 2 year old he is into everything and i DO mean everything.. He was raised in the same household as the 3 year old but they have 360 degree difference in attitude... the 2 year old barely talks and (jumps off of the refrigerator if he can get up there)while 3 year old will sit for long periods of time coloring.. 2 year old wants to eat the crayons and grab his brothers coloring papers and run so 3 year old will chase him..Each child is different... Hang in there chic.. and try to remember the days tht he is lyeing in your arms and the times he says i love u more than the "get downs" and "stop-dont-quits"
