I know there is lots of people on here that have had to deal with many problems like this, so I just need to get this off my chest and get some advice from those that have had to go through it.

I just found out tonight that my best friend and ex-roommate from college was brutally beaten and stabbed to death last night..

He was only 31 years old.. and right now.. it doesn't make sense.. Probably one of the nicest guys I have ever known.. Just getting to a point in his life where things were starting to roll in a good direction.

Now he's gone and I never had a chance to say goodbye to him..

Probably some senseless random killing..

No rhyme or reason, and one life is over.

jeeze! Im sorry for your loss, yes, it was senseless and brutal. Only the good die young. Honor his memory.

My Condolence to u. I lost my father last July, life will never be the same, but u just have to go on. Time never hearts a broken heart, u just adjust every second of the day when the thoughs of the person come back.

It's under investigation.. probably a robbery would be my guess.. He was a medical device sales rep and it happened close to the hospital.. he was probably wearing scrubs and looked alot like a doctor with alot of expensive surgical equipment..

just a guess though. nothing will be known or released for a few days..

I understand what you are going through
My son was brutally murdered as well, he was only 18 at the time. There was no excuse, and I will not go into full detail as it was just totally barbiac.
But you will never make sense of it.
The guy that killed my son never went to jail, and the only thing I could do so I could have a normal happy life is to forgive him.
I never had a chance to say goodbye to my son either.
The only thing I will always remember is that I got to spend the last Christmas with him and we had so much fun.
So remember the last time you spent with this person, because I am sure he never forgot it.

sorry to hear about your loss as well.. I guess time is the only real band aid and the wound never fully heals.

I have kids and have never had to deal with the loss of a close family member.. I guess I've been lucky that way..
