just thought it would help me if i got some peoples' thoughts and ideas of what they did to get over their first love. Well Lets see, Stayd black out drunk on Southern Comfort for 3 months, When I came out of it I was over 1000 miles from where I lived then I did a year in Iraq with a private security company. And I'm still not really over her. So I don't know what to tell ya. Sorry. |

Let's see, I guess it would depend on circumstance. I got over my first love partly because of those circumstances, and I was able to see that it just wouldn't work out. Somehow that provided me comfort and forced me to move on.
Now my second love, which I believe has been more of a love than my first, that's a different story. We ended because of distance, with my first we ended because of bad compatibility. I would say just immerse yourself in the dating world as much as you can. Convince yourself that this sense of autonomy is much better for the time being than being bogged down by something negative. |

I am just gonna say that, you don't "get over" your first love. You learn from it! The great thing is your young and cute so you'll have many experiences to learn from. Then when it come time to be with your true love, you'll be great.
