“Would You Change?”

I think about the days gone by.
At times I sit and ask why?
Things happen the way they did.
And just wonder what if instead.

If some how things had changed.
Would I really have exchanged?
Make things come out in a different way.
Even if I could make some things go away.

I don’t think for a minute.
I would change one route.
You see this life of mine.
To me has been just fine.

The things I have.
I would never leave.
Nor would I ever exchange.
No matter how strange.

That may sound.
You see I love the ones that surround.
My world and that are in my heart.
And I would never part.

With those that are in my life.
I would all over again deal with the strife.
Just to have the life I have had.
For nothing has been all that bad.

I got to watch my children grow.
And the love they do show.
I have a grandbaby that has a smile.
That is all worthwhile.

One I would never give up for anything.
For all the love she does bring.
You see I like my life this way.
I would not change anything today.

I would not change anything either Kristi...the friendship I have earned from you is one of the best I have endeared and hope to keep it as long as I write. You have been a sweetheart in all your comments, views, and emails and I thoroughly enjoy being the friends we are.

Awwwwwww Robert ya have touched my heart with your words of kindness. You know so many says they would change there lives of whom they married ect......... But........ if we had not married the ones we did we would not have the children that we do most don't even think of that before they say those words. So yeah I would live my life all over again just to have the ones I do around me.



And the friendships I have gained from this site has been worthwhile indeed.

nice write I ask myself that alot,but no I've learned alot of hard lessons in life but I'm stronger because of it

Wondering "if"..I would waste a lifetime if I did that all the time..just do it is easier and the only thing in my life that I would "do-over" is meeting Robert earlier. We love our kids and that was worth the pain we both have endured and would never ever change that.
Thanks for the write good words for thought. No more wondering "if" it just does not fit in with my life now.

This is why I have her in my life...

Awwwwwwwwwww thank you all for the responses but so true to change the past would change the person we are today and the ones we have around us those things we forget at times when we wish life could have been changed.
