Well, I can't do anything today. I needed to go out and get new ink for my printer, and gas in the car, and some stuff to make soups and salads.

I can't find my darn wallet. It was in the car under my dance skirts. At least I thought that all I took into the house was my book.

My car was locked and in the drive for two days. It was still locked when I went out to my car. But I can't find that wallet anywhere.

Maybe I did take it into the house, but I've cleaned all the usual places in the living room and the bedroom and it isn't anywhere.

It turned into smoke and drifted away.

hope there wasnt too much money in it?? nothing worse than loosing your wallet with cash and cards inside!!

I could help if ya wan me to i just need the very last place you seen it in and describe the layout of your house.

The very last place I can visualize it is in the passanger seat of my car. There is a big paper bag with handles next to the back of the seat, then the wallet was in front and I put my folded up hip scarves on top of it to hide it. My car is a your basic 4 door and it is very messy and full of all sorts of things.

When I walk in my front door, the entertainment center is against the wall on my left. The couch is on the right, dividing the large living room into two spaces. There is an end table between the sofa and wall. Behind the couch, my table is against the picture window and the side wall is full of book shelves.

The kitchen opens up off this half of the room and the first part is a breakfast nook that has a roll top desk, a fridge, and a half table against the window. Behind that is the kitchen proper. Standard one sided galley kitchen.

The stairs to the basement go down from there, leading into a computer/t.v. room, the spare bedroom off that is a craft room with the laundry attached.

Upstairs again, When you enter the house, the wall on the left leads to an alcove. That alcove has 4 doors. The first one one the left, then going clocksize, the master bedroom, the spare bedroom, the bathroom, and the linen closet.

Holy Cow, I pulled out a pendulum and asked a few questions and determined it was under my seat. So I double checked under both front seats. Still didn't find it. Stood there looking at my car and thinking and suddenly saw it in plain site. It WAS under my seat. As in under my behind. Everytime I got into the car to look for it, I sat on top of it. I have a very big winter coat so I never felt it!

I've only been trying to find it for 2.5 hours. Now I can finally get my errands done.

It is frustrating to lose things. I seem to be good at that. Sometimes with me it helps if I take a break from looking to collect my thoughts and I find the lost item.
