Unbound

Feigning visions I seek to peer
Ceasing all my doubt and fear.
The gentle silence before a storm.
Construed in thoughts
As presence takes form.
A goddess, an angel
Daftly perceived,
Silence still, yet nothing received.
Dredging deep in hollowed core,
Yet darkness still
Within thine bore.
To speak the truth,
My tongue falls silent.
The beast inside
Lulled, quelled, unviolent.
The panging ring Of crystal bound
Encrusted heart, my hallowed ground.
Tears of ages and time gone past
Formed this rigid, unbreakable cast.
Undefeated, and set in mind
A thought with love
Begins to chime.
Darkness falls as light begins,
Sparks of care, light within.
Fractures form as crystal breaks,
Within my soul, a heart awakes.
So simple,
Yet easily complex
The rendering of magic,
Assault beset.
Within my heart, a friendship found
Not yet love, but love unbound.

Thats a real good one Faded..Been wanting to post some of mine,but never have.Maybe I should.Would be nice to get opinions from other poets...Keep up the good work!
