POLITENESS ..........Has this word disappeared from both the UK and US dictionary. Or is it that the majority of females don't understand the meaning of the word !

I have lost count of the number of letters that I have wrote to females on this and other sites and have had no reply whatsoever ! OK so I know that I am not every womans dream of what they look for in a man but I feel if someone takes the time to write a polite letter at least he deserves a short reply even if its just to say thank you but you are just not my type, I am sure I am not on my own thinking this and many others will feel as I do.

Thanks for reading.

They may be exasperated with constant E-mails from freaks that they stopped caring about all of them together.

I get the same thing, most of the girls I message don't reply, I just don't let it bother me.

i agree with you, manners costs nothing and it only takes a few minutes to reply even if its a dear john letter!! ive had it done to me a couple of times too its very rude.i always reply straight away if not when i get time but never ignore unless its a pervy one!! lol but i have to say men are just as bad!

.

I think everyone is afaid to email first.I very rarely email first. But i must say. It's alot like real life.So many would not be alone if they would just make the first move. And not be afraid.Whats the worst that could happen?
I think that i will just wait for that someone to get up the courge to email.I am still back in the days where,Men should at least do that much. :smile.

my personal philosophy is that it doesn't matter what you say (especially over the internet), it only matters what you do. If you make someone feel good about you, your outlook, your values, or themselves, they'll seek that out again to get more of of it...

good luck brother, hope you find a good'n bigsmile

I can count on one hand the times I have made a first approach on a social networking site in the 4 years I've been on these sites. When I have, I usually comment on something they wrote in their profile or in a forum... Which I am sure stands more of a chance of response then a canned statement about their appearance.
I know I probably receive a fraction of the amount of mail an average woman receives on this site..and sometimes I can overlook responding. So I wouldn't take it too personally if I was overlooked as well.

These days.. It would seem that much of the mail I receive is from folks who do not even read my profile at all.. otherwise they would know I am preoccupied with a particular young woman's attention. This can often lead to the question ~ Why should I bother to take the time to respond to a person that obviously did not take the time to read my profile in the first place?
