I have noticed the rudeness in here over the past few months.........I tried to help a new member with a question and got accused of hitting on her. She even started a thread about it and complained about me (but didn't mention names).
She later wrote me another email with a lame apology about how she didn't even read the email, just saw it was from a female and took it as I was hitting on her. |

I'm an anarchist, and an agnostic to top that off...been dealing with this for years, on and off-line.
Just do what I do, walk tall and don't give them more than a "alright". |

There also has to be a sense about what you post. You post a personal question looking for feedback, your going to get the good the bad and the ugly. Man up and take it, or dont put yourself out there. well said |

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed how rude people are about other people thoughts or feeling. What has happened to this place...it really isn't fun anymore. Maybe they should change the name from Just Say Hi, to I don't give a crap about anyone but myself. This place has really gone downhill. that's why I don't come here as much any more

Maybe they should change the name from Just Say Hi, to I don't give a crap about anyone but myself. This place has really gone downhill. I have been on here since 06 and really haven't noticed a change at all. There are some people that are nice and some that aren't. No differnce than in real life! Maybe it is that has changed and you may have outgrown the site! Curt Nice perspective

Chevy I don't think it's that bad.. some people aren't as nice as others but for the most part people care and show it.. I've only seen a few meanies.. If I don't like a post or find it totally stupid I rarely post, that's the beauty of it no matter how tired I get of seeing some of the same irritating stuff... Others may like it so it's there for them... |

Yesterday, I got called a murderer just for saying I'm pro-choice, even though I've never impregnated anyone and have never been involved with any abortion scenario. Some of the people here are just WAY beyond being reasoned with! |

Do you really catch flak for being an agnostic? That seems odd... It happens. I'm an atheist, and I got called a liar and a troll in the Religion forum, just for disagreeing with a Christian. Yesterday, I got called a murderer just for saying I'm pro-choice, even though I've never impregnated anyone and have never been involved with any abortion scenario. Some of the people here are just WAY beyond being reasoned with! Getting snide remarks for being an ATHEIST doesn't surprise me one bit. I got it a lot when I used to pretend I was an atheist just to annoy religious zealots. I was commenting specifically that I was surprised to hear someone ridiculed for being agnostic. |

Yea, we all have our hot topic issues, but there's a lotta freaks on here that just post bitterness and hatred all the time. Maybe they should venture out into the world, instead of going online. Even with the hot topic issues, though, there's no need for personal attacks or insults. It's entirely possible to argue without being argumentative or insulting. Dragoness and I went back and forth fairly strongly over the death penalty from very different sides, but I never felt insulted or angry. (Hopefully she didn't either!)
No, you were great I am usually the one getting down and gritty though so, I have to watch myself. I am extremely blunt

Im wiccan and pro-choice! Raised Roman Catholic, Practiced Southern Baptist for a few years and I have 2 kids. |
