as long as it has the same power connectors for the motherboard it should work.

neither machine should care about its insides they are interchangable thankfully it isnt a mac.

Also make sure the wattage on the Dell matches or exceeds the one that was in the eMachine. If it is lower wattage, you may run into problems.
