I just thought I'd let everyone know I made it in one piece. The only casualty so far were my tesiticles retreating to where they came from while smoking outside the terminal in Chicago, O'Hare.. It was a lovely negative 2 degrees. Ohio is balmy by comparison..but the wind sucks any warmth right outa ya.

I might see them (my balls) back by spring.

I left Ohio right before the New Year, and thought since I was moving South it would be warmer. Boy, was I ever wrong...it was only 15 degrees when I woke up this morning.

Hey today we are having a heat wave in Illinois. It is 14 degrees now.

It actually took longer to get here from Chicago..then it did to get to Chicago from Oregon. They gave us a broken plane. Which they replaced with another broken plane. Then they realized they did not have any food or beverages on the newly repaired broken plane... So that little issue took another 30 minutes to rectify. Many of us were thinking of renting a van and heading out by then, as per my suggestion.
Most of the people on the flight lived in Ohio. When I told them I was visiting...They started to treat me as if I was insane! Now I know why.
They just didn't know what/who I had here waiting for me though. If I had to do it all over again...I would.... and will.

That's cold ;) I'm still grasping the concept of winter without the -40 windchill. When I first moved to B.C. and heard the radio dj say it was a cold winter morning of +2 in the valley, I had to giggle.
Don't worry your boys will be back out to play soon.

There's always the option of buying long underwear. I've really considered it for myself since being out and about on foot quite a bit is one thing I do.
