i say it all comes down to
humans who really show alot of love and kindness and respect
and others dont and in this thread we all have tha human heart to love and care for one another, however some of us are more deep into loving and caring while others dont

Not being politicaly correct has absolutely nothing to do with being mean.

Your right I was, and I understand why they did it. But I am never going to say that people shouldn't try to be nice to others. You can be mean to anyone you want and you can justify it how ever you want, but I know that it is wrong to be mean to others and I will never advocate it for any reason.

Again your right maybe I can't save the world, but I don't see the harm in trying. I don't see the harm in being nice and making others lives a little bit better for no reason.

Not being PC = being mean, because you aren't sparing some poor saps feelings. Being PC = Being mean, but in a nice way.

All in all it is great to hear others opinions about different subjects. I don't expect anyone to think the same as I do that would be boring but there is no sense in throwing in the words of hate or putting another down it does not get you anywhere. There are ways to say things with out cursing them out or calling them names opinions is what makes this world go around. But seeing the differnt opinions that each have is great. Just no sense of telling them they are wrong for what they believe in.

You believe in what you want to as I will believe in what I want to but it does not mean we can't still be friends or talk about our thoughts we just don't believe the same. Still does not make me any better than you just a difference of opinion!!!

Tobias, I have posted several times about this myself, and the grim reality is that it does no good.

The people who have some tolerance, some aptitude for empathy, will continue to do so. After you've been here for awhile, you know those names as well as you know your own. You know who will respond with a supporting and thoughtful comment.

The people who respond with rudeness and insensitivity will also continue to do so. That's their "niche" and they are incapable of stepping beyond it. Or unwilling. Nothing you can say or do will get any notice from them. And you get to know those names as well.

It's like any other group of people, on line, or real world, whatever -- some you like, and some you can't stand.

There really IS a way to hold a discussion, which incorporates disagreements, in a civilized manner. There are some who simply refuse to do so.

I agree with you about helping others. Ostensibly, that's why we're in forums where people ask for advice. Human nature being what it is, however (in a lot of cases, "human" is more of a euphemism than a reality), some people can't resist the "kick 'em when they're down" mentality.

This is a PERFECT example of my point. it is simple FACT and TRUTH. You are weak (your own statement show that clearly). If you could run tell your mommy and hide behind her skirt..you probably would, because in your insecure state you view this as an "attack". Why, because that is your NATURE. Because that is what you have done all your life.

I don't pick on people. I grew up most all of my youth being picked on. So I totally understand how that feels and I would NEVER do that to anyone. Instead I stood up to the "bullies" and fought back! I stood my ground! I have NEVER started a fight in my life! But win or lose, I never had to fight the same guy twice, because I showed them I was not afraid and was going to fight back..and fight back hard.

And as I clearly stated before..and make sure you see this because it is FACT. I do not mince words..I call a horse a horse and I am direct and to the point. Now seeing as you weren't there and don't know me I would call those attacks. What your saying doesn't hurt, I have learned to deal with people like you in my life. But that doesn't mean that I don't like when it happens.
