Which miracle in the Bible gives you most comfort?

For me the miracles that were of healing, and reference to faith seem to be most moving to my heart. Though the walking on water was pretty incredible...

Maybe I'm strange, but stories have never comforted me in the least. I get it when I take a breath, accept or forgive, and get those reassuring chills from head to toe...

2 Kings 2:23-24 (New International Version)


23 From there Elisha went up to Bethel. As he was walking along the road, some youths came out of the town and jeered at him. "Go on up, you baldhead!" they said. "Go on up, you baldhead!" 24 He turned around, looked at them and called down a curse on them in the name of the LORD. Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the youths.


That is an amazing miracle. Gods wondrous ways.

The miracle of Salvation

Here is a real miracle a priest that just popped out whole. A man that is no decedent of Adam? Maybe he is sin free too. He must still be walking around here somwhere. I bet he has some good stories.

Hebrews 7

7:1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; (7:1-3)

I also liked how he cured the disabled man who was trying to get to the healing water.

The 'unknown' miracle...
