Which miracle in the Bible gives you most comfort?
For me the miracles that were of healing, and reference to faith seem to be most moving to my heart. Though the walking on water was pretty incredible... |

Maybe I'm strange, but stories have never comforted me in the least. I get it when I take a breath, accept or forgive, and get those reassuring chills from head to toe...

Daniel being protected while in the lion's den.
Very powerful, comforting and encouraging message in his story. |

Tao:
Fill your bowl to the brim and it will spill. Keep sharpening your knife and it will blunt. Chase after money and security and your heart will never unclench. Care about people's approval and you will be their prisoner. Do your work, then step back. The only path to serenity. (Of course if you follow another theology, you likewise have your own path....which is wonderful to!) Thanks guys! |

You guys wouldn't want to hear my opinions on the bible or christianity in general. I will gracefully bow out. Or I'll lurk in the background and see what you all say.

I thought it was amazing how Jesus fed the multitude with the few fish and loaves of bread

2 Kings 2:23-24 (New International Version) 23 From there Elisha went up to Bethel. As he was walking along the road, some youths came out of the town and jeered at him. "Go on up, you baldhead!" they said. "Go on up, you baldhead!" 24 He turned around, looked at them and called down a curse on them in the name of the LORD. Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the youths. That is an amazing miracle. Gods wondrous ways. |

Here is a real miracle a priest that just popped out whole. A man that is no decedent of Adam? Maybe he is sin free too. He must still be walking around here somwhere. I bet he has some good stories.
Hebrews 7 7:1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; (7:1-3) 7:2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; 7:3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. |

I also liked how he cured the disabled man who was trying to get to the healing water.

The 'unknown' miracle...
Of all men born of a woman, none is greater than John... he who is the least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. Do not look high and low, here and there... The kingdom of heaven is within you... The 'unknown'... the way... the truth... the light... It is within you |
