Some women don't like being called sweety, darhlin, hon, or baby. If you
say those words and they do say something just tell them your sorry that is just a habit of yours and you will try to do better if you slip say opps I'm sorry finaly they will just leave the issue alone. Smiles :) |

hey romee...i'll give it to you straight...i call them baby, sweetie.
hon and so forth but only if i feel comfertable that i might be get away with it without her taking offence...also if she starts with the pet names first is a good indication that you can take it to that levle. exampl...got a add request on another site beautiful wome and you can tell from her pic she was a women of substance...i read some of the thank you comments... a bit crude, no tack. The comment I left was as follow: I would be honored to have a women as charming as you as a friend. now thats not really me, i'm a t-shirt and jeans kind of guy but if I need to up scailed I can. point being put your best foot foward instead of tring to come off as a swav and cool player...ppl can read the wrong signal at times. |

if she asked you not to call her baby or sweetie right away, then don't
say that. it takes me awhile to be ok with being called that. if it slips then apologize and it should be fine. |

With some women it's sore spot and not just ready to be called baby
sweetie, hon, baby girl baby doll, sweetheart ,sugar sweet cheeks, when you first get to know them LOL But for me I truly don't care I love the sweet names calling so just say you really sorry and move on from there. |

Honey, baby are terms of endearment used between man and woman AFTER
they've known each other. We NEW AGE women think it's condescending. After we're married you can even call us bitch and the ole lady. But you'd better not fall asleep at night. HAHEE |

Hey Romee, Plain and simple she is telling you "It's ok to call her that
when you MEAN it". When you say it in the first email, her "Playa Hater Radar" Clicks on. If you wait a little bit "Until" there is a connection of some sort, she will fell that YOU are connecting with HER on some level: But if you say it before any connection can be made she HAS to assume that you are saying it to every girl on this site that you talk to and therfore you are a Player. Just my take (sounds like you were talking to a good girl there Romee) |

the heck with her!.. i would keep on looking!!

How long have you known her? Believe it or not there are still some women that think and feel that being called sweetie,so close after just meeting. Might make her feel like you are moving too fast. Slow down, don't sound desperate, you have your whole life ahead of you. |

It's hard to tell, with out the benefit of talking face to face, how a
person understands our use of some words we write in e-mails. It sounds like she read it with the impression that you were being somewhat dis-respectful or crude, while you had'nt any intent in doing so! Read your e-mail as if you were her, recieving it from a guy she doesn't know in the least, before you send it, and try to see the man writing to her, through her eyes! She may see you as coming on too strong or thinking maybe you think you're "it"....every womans dream, while she wants a man who one day only calls "her" baby, and is the man of "her" dreams!! It's the tone, mannerisms, and demeanor that you use when talking face too face that usually avoids misinterpretations of words. I'd just write her, apologize if she was offended, and let her know you meant no dis-respect. If she feels you are being sincere, it will have been forgotten already! If not, be thankful it ended now!!! |
