There are an abundance of single, highly educated men, both involved in
blue-collar jobs and/or volunteer work who are wonderful people and have chosen their life-style based on what makes them happy, and many "professionals" who will never be happy because they would never sacrifice their financial and/or power status just to make their lives happier, and if they wouldn't make the sacrifice for themselves, it is clear in what place a relationship would fall. It is in the person that we find happiness and contentment, and once we start putting restrictions on those who might just bear those qualities, we begin judging them based on basically irrelevent factors which make up their true being. Sure, it makes sense to find someone with similar interests, but to characterize and even think that those working in a "professional position" will fulfill the void in our life differently than someone in a "blue-collar position" , because they are somehow "two different animals", is simply absurd. You are projecting a negative vibe to both groups. First being the insensitivity expressed in your view that an average "Joe" is any the less person than the next, and second, to the "professional", that you seem to infer that you may just be more interested in what he does for a living, or how much he makes, that takes presidence in your expectations of a loving relationship, superceding the decency of the man himself! Sometimes you have to sacrifice one for the other, or vice-versa.... |

hmmm... mayBE it takes a "lil" redneck in a gal... to like a
redneck..."ANYBODY". Too dang "stiff" if ya ask me. I can be as sophisticated as I WANT or NEED to be... and I can be as "RED" as I want or need to be. Ya' shouldnt "stereo-type" by hobbies or how some one "grew-up". I personally would take a "fishin-pole" over a "silver-spoon" any day!! Open yer' mind and yer' heart and look at every one individually... cuz' WE ALL ARE DIFFERENT!!! ya could be missin' out.... Posting things of this nature... well that causes folks to be "defensive"... |
Yeah!! What "hello" said..... nicely put mister!!
um i have an uncle who likes all those "redneck" things and hes a lawyer
with 3 kids and takes care of them too. so your statement is inaccurate at best and you shoulnt judge a book by its cover or you might miss out on some good reading. |

I don't think there is anything wrong with riding on the back of a
harley. Just think of ALL that power between your legs! Hey Elaine, how are you? |

Dear OnAl ARK, I'm an educated pro. also. I'm now retired and am
seriously looking for a fishing, camping buddy. After years of pantyhose and high heels, I'm ready to get a little dirty, not to take a bath for a week, and eat granola bars chased down with a BUD LITE. So send them to me, down here in the LONE STAR STATE. |
