i think all drug users need to do time, especially the ones that say what we never hurt anyone one but our selves

its time to grow up and be responsable if you need to escape to relax you need help and not from street drugs

if people are actually getting hurt directly from it then that would be different but all the pot users i know just sit at home and do it. my brother has gone to work high but no one got hurt

The real problem in the states at least is it is criminalized so any medical studies that can be done on it are very limited, in all honesty there are a host of natural psychoactive plants that are criminalized just because of their affects on a occasional user and the media putting crude assumptions on it (ala; Salvia Divinorium). In a country where everyone believes the white picket fence story it is really hard to get the point through that there needs to be studies done on these plants further in order to find out their true potential negative or positive.

Personally I find little harm in marijuana, it is no different then alcohol in its affects other than it won't kill you as quickly.

Alcohol is one of the most powerful and destructive drugs out there....more deaths, either directly or indirectly, readily available, and most abused...just because this land has deemed it licit, doesn't mean people are not hurt by it....should we lock up these people as well????

MYSELF I think it sould be legal to smoke and posses,but with sever punishment if your caught giving or selling to anyone under 18.I behind the leagalization of it100 percent, but dont approve of our children doing it.

I actualy posted my prop for the legalisation and regulation on here some time ago. Prohibition has only made the problems worse, when pot was legal here all the crime was over alchohal. I think regulation and taxation is the only answer, regulate the quality, purity, and sales of it while funneling extra taxes from it to fund mental health & rehabilitation programs. We cannot win a war on drugs with prohibition, the key is awareness and education. I'm also for the legalisation of other drugs, gay marriage, polygamy, gambling and prostitution, not that I believe in any of it but whatever happened to personal choice freedom?;^]

I worked as a paramedic for 6 years...never went on a run where marijuana was the reason for a wreck or a fight....
