I'll never forget a couple years ago a friend and I were going to a special pizza joint to celebrate my B-Day thats on Feb 21. I didn't remember it was Valentines day until we got a heart shaped pizza. This was a good guy friend of mine. Everybody else there were couples.

Thank you, thank you very much. I had actually managed to forget it was a holiday that was coming up. Even with all the hearts and pink and red stuff at work. I managed to keep it out of my mental and real vocabulary. Now you made me go and face the fact the most horrible holiday is just around the corner.

the thing is valentine's day is a card holiday if you truly love someone you should show them affection and appreciate them everyday not just some day that the calendar dictates that you must show love for someone you like.

I think of it this way...There's still a few weeks, to find a date, and make plans. I try not to think about it until the day comes. And, If I don't find a guy than that's quite alright, I got my single girlies, and we'll make the best of it.

i LOVE valentine's day, even though i hate flowers and jewelry and candy and stuff. i make a BIG fuss for the kids...flowers delivered to school, cards, sweets, all kinds of good stuff. they are my number one loves.

I have only ever celebrated Valentines day twice since becoming an adult. I will do what I normally do....work
