I understand exactly what you mean ((Alonenot)) I see it all the time. I really don't care how old the man is because true love knows no age, creed, race, sex, Etc....
You know I had a friend on my friends list and he was 36, I went to send him a message to wish him a merry X-mas and a Happy New Year and he had a message filter saying that People had to meet a certain age criteria, it was "18-25" 
I am younger than he is, I am 32! I just don't get it and things like that make me sick cause it is madness to think that anyone under the age of 30 would be halfway seriouse about anything, let alone a relationship with longevity and true commitment. There are the exception to the rule though that are mature enought o handle life responsably!

Yes VERY VERY few people under 30 can even hold a real conversation, all they look forward to is Friday night getting drunk and not remembering life. |

and that older men are after them? dude...ive seen some pretty hot older women and i could only wish to be that good lookin when i hit 50. right now...eh...i dont wanna go there. |

Men, aren't you tired of all these young chicks spouting about older men (pervs, I think, is the name) viewin' 'em and young men just doin' 'em so wrong? Like these young chicks are IT and what we want? Gag me with a spoon! Age is yet another prejudiced factor - there are no absolutes in a relationship. Only Youth thinks Youth is that attractive! Think of the young you've seen and read on JSH, and the over 35 you've seen and read. Who would you want to be with for more than a tryst: an older (>30) or a younger (30<)? I was trying to satirize that sort of ageism on another thread earlier today, even equating it to racism at one point -- it always strikes me as strange that people make such a big deal out of a number -- as if it's somehow "abnormal" for someone to notice that another person is attractive. Why does it make any difference how many times they've ridden the planet around the sun? So I guess that makes me one of the old creeps or pervs or whatever the term is this week. And that's OK. But then, I could never be interested in someone so shallow and narrow-minded, anyway -- and I'll be the first to advocate the idea that everyone is entitled to determine their own standards, but the reality is that sometimes you just might "standard" yourself out of the best person you could ever meet. And maybe it's not really my place to say anything, because my own standards are ridiculously restrictive -- but at least they have very little to do with age....! (Like that makes them any better than anybody else's, but I can pretend).... But my gf is 23, so I have to go with the under 30's anyway -- but, truthfully, I would not even try to be with an ageist. That sort of discrimination bothers me. Other kinds, I guess I'm OK with....

At least not in public...haha Didn't say all, I've drank twice in my life and that's more than enough, but 95% of young people care about partying and can't realize what true Paradise is in life, they piss away their innocence and sharing that with someone worthwhile for a few hours of fun every week. |

Well you know what they say? The 60's are the new 50's and the 50's are the new 40's and the 40's are the new...well you get the point!
I think in this day and age everyone is aging more gracefully and men and woman alike are turning back time and looking younger everyday. I think it is a shame that society has made it to where the younger generation feels that older is bad and gross! I mean I am not old but I have made a few guy friends on here that tell me that the only reason why they would not date me or become an item with me is because and I quote "I'm too old!" Wow that really made me feel on top of the death chart. I mean I prefer to date and have a relationship with a man that is older than me because older men tend to be more mature and what is wrong with being a pervert? It just means that they still got spunk and they can teach us a few things we may not know. I think all the woman on this site are so beautiful and very creative and sexy, and the men are all handsome, sexy, intelligent, and a lot of them are down right HOT!!! I don't know a lot of you but I do know this I only hope I get to know all of you better as time goes on cus you all are so awesome!!! I may have said to much, but for those who know me know that I am long winded!! |

parts of this i agree with ....but i am 18 and i am serious about everything i do....and relationships i am serious about finding a longevity and true comitment....like i ahve said many times i am sick of being the girl who every guy just wants to have sex with....well that is the majority of guys my age... |
