Um I think I did e-mail a couple of times when I first got here...
but have'nt since. Still waiting for e-mails...(places impatient emotioncon here). Guess I'm a bit ole' school! Starts scratchin' the dirt and clucking too...

Unless you're really out here in the forums, you have less than an idea who you're emailing. It could be someone who was on here only once and never coming back or someone who only checks in . . . on blue moons. Don't take it personal. Who knows? You mighta dodged a bullet!

Sometimes the ladies email first and sometimes they don't. I've found that it differs from person to person.
Mirror do you have a preference? Well, I'm a guy and I prefer the ladies to email me first, I certainly dont mind. I'm here to make friends. I've talked to a lot of people on JSH. Sometimes they contact me first,and sometimes I contact them first. Most of the women in the forums are polite enough to respond in a timely fashion.
I am comfortable in the forums, just not the one on one thing. I was raised that ladies don't make the 1st move. Seems the rules have changed. |

I get lots of e-mail from women here -- which is good because I won't e-mail anyone first. I was too traumatized by my bad experiences trying to e-mail locals when I first signed up, and getting ZERO replies.
So I said screw it, anybody wants to talk to me, they can send the first one. And they do, now that I've been here awhile and people know me from my posts, and from trying to read my profile. But I still never hear from anyone local. So screw them, too. |
