I Am Not The Enemy The feelings I fight In this battle of emotions, My mind keeps swirling With all these commotions. Bitter thoughts and words Of the past do dwell, Keeping my guard up Of the feelings that fell. I am not the enemy Of a war I fought, The explosions of battle That drained my thoughts. Being a victor to overcome What was a bitter past, To walk in stride To go forward at last.
