 why do people post pictures of them that are not real or outdated? photos should be as recent as possible,i have been shown pic from when they were younger and then see a recent view and its like totally differant and thats very misleading.i remain friends,but it honestly changes the first impression i had , and first impressions really do mean a lot.so to close i say please post recent photo or none at all that is best way to go

all my pictures are recent- w/i a year, however only because i do not have any old ones. i think it is "neat" to see people back when

Yes. Makes more sense to upgrade to recent pics instead of backwards. I plan on putting an update up. The pic I have up is like six months old. I've changed too...

In some aspects I agree with you but you should think that not all people have cameras and can only use what they have at hand or what makes themselves feel the best.This is just my opinion though,and I understand your opinion.Have a good day!!

All my pictures are real and recent.... then again.. maybe thats why i have no contacts.. Lol

Mine are recent...did you think to ask them how old their pic is first, if it's so important to you? I happen to look at the persons choice of pictures as an expression of themselves, no matter how old or new, or if it's not them at all.

omg did i open a box of worms ,but its all good i justr wondered what others thought after i was told about what happened with a friend of mine.not gonna mention name but i will say this PEOPLE STILL TEASE HER ABOUT HOW DIFFERANT THE GUY LOOKED IN PERSON ,NOT A THING LIKE PHOTO POSTED SHE I MUST SAY WAS VERY BROKEN HEARTED,i felt bad for her .

I on the other hand am not photogenic and so when I meet someone they are shocked and say my pics don't do me justice. I also have great eyes, been told that for years, hun.

It SUCKS whenever ANYONE gets hurt for a lie...
And I have seen MANY one picture profiles that have been fake,,NOT ALL,OK...but some. And its always best to ASK the one they like to POST a pic with THEM giving the camera the peace sign, in front of there face, or the bird or whatever, as long as they do it and show their face in back of their hand signal.....NO PROBLEM,,,if they match THEIR REAL, on what they posted as their pic... Then NO-ONE has any SURPRISES..... TRY IT!!!!

Life is short...too bad people put the effort into being something they are not or were. They could be passing up a chance to total happiness.  Seen it all too, kinda...
