I really like punk & rock...well...and a million other genres...but I need something that takes a heck of a lot of talent. There are many other great singers entered in this....I was lucky to get second last time! Thanks for your advice guys & dont worry about what song you suggest....I got the pipes! I like the song "Before he cheats because it is a real powerful song that has lots of emotion and attitude to it. You can walk around with that Louisville Slugger and dare them not to vote for you!!! lol. Good Luck sweety and I hope you blow them away!! You need to try out for American Idol and go for the big time exposure!!!

I don't think that it will hurt you because the song is popular...but the pressure will be on to nail it because everyone knows the song the way Carrie sings it.I think that it would really blow them away if you can project the attitude and sass that the song needs. I don't think the song is too easy because of the great stage presence that it commands. That song will put people on the edge of their seats!!Tape it...review it...and work on the performance as well as the vocals. A great set of boots with some sexy country attire will help too!!
