Kerry the "war hero" is wanted by the Vietnamese for war crimes where he jumped off his boat and assasinated a wounded Viet Cong. The same act that he received his silver star for. He was wounded 3 times in Viet Nam, twice form shrapnel from his own weapon. Duh if you fire a grenade launcher at a target too close to you it is apt to wound you with your own shrapnel. Dong it once can happen to anyone doing it twice is just plain stupid. The three wounds he suffered that allowed him to request that he be sent home early amounted to litlte more than scratches. Total time off duty to recuperate was about a day.

Then he came home and ran for congress as a war hero and got defeated so he threw his lot in with Hanoi Jane Fonda, threw his medals, but the weren't his medals they were someone elses, oh wait maybe they were mine but they were the ribbons but not the medals, oh wait they were someone elsed medals, at the white house. His appearance before congress is well documented and there is a video record of it.

The liberal socialists have selective amnesia that conveniently allows them to forget anything that does not support their argument or promote their agenda. If you want to talk about defaming someone's character perhaps you should talk to you socialistic hero Kerry about how he defamed, under oath in front of congress, everyone who served in Viet Nam. Or, perhaps you should aks Obama to explain why he refused to salute the flag of his country.

The only acceptable PROOF for your sordid statements and calumnious and empty accusations of treason, is a condemnation by a court of law against Kerry, on counts of treason against the nation, for alledgedly saying something in front of Congress, and for Obama for not doing something to the flag.

If you can produce such PROOF, then I will stand corrected and offer my apologies for having been missinformed of such 'judgement'.

On the other hand, if no SUCH JUDGEMENT EXIST, you should present your excuses to me personnally, and proceed to do the only two possible honorable things:

1) serve your accusations to the intended parties yourself, namely Kerry and Obama, and see whewre that goes.

2. Show me video of Kerry testifying in front of congress, under oath in his fatigue jacket with his ribbons stuck on them saying that everyone who served in Viet Nam is NOT a murder and a rapist.

I had a friend I visited a few times in the Carolinas as a pre-teen. His aunt lived with his family. She was a bit of an old 'rockin' chair' senile know it all.

She had a calumnious statement to utter, evertime she opened her mouth. In little dosages, she was amusing. After a few days, her thick venom had spread to just about everyone and everything she could name. You just had to get away after a while.

Among other things, she kept repeating the same insignificant line as you 'gardenforge': "... cuz I just calls em like I seez um". People didn't listen to her much, but that didn't stop her rantings.

Anyhow, among the calumnies she would repeat endlessly, there were serious accusations made against her neighbors. As kids, we used to play with those neighbors. I liked them a lot, and so did my friend.

They were very warm and generous people with a great sense of family and community. Most of the neigborhood would gather at their place for all kinds of fun, and the parents would more often than not feed and care for the whole gang of us.

One day, I was about 12, I heard my friend's aunt repeat the same silly accusations she had been blabbering for years. Bored to tears, people would adopt a resigned attitude towards her. But that one day, out of pity I guess, I asked her if she had ever made her accusations known to her neighbors. She replied categorically: '... I, my little boy, do not talk to 'blacks' (she used a different term).

That's when I became clear about the true meaning of "... cuz I just calls em like I seez um", and the cowardly character of people hiding behind the statement.

If you're not prepared to make your accusations stick with the people you for whom they are intended, at least refrain from acting like my old friend's 'rockin' chair' aunt.

Bearing False Witness, does that include lying under oath to congress? That is not only false witness that is a felony called purjury.
