I respect my exhusband. He is still one of my best freinds and I talk to him everyday. We are great friends but couldn't make it a couple. Luckily for me we never had infidelity or lack of respect as an issue. Just different dreams and expectations. Not to mention he is a great dad. I guess I got really lucky with that.

I respect my ex, just wish she would get over the reason we married so young, took two. She still says it was all my fault.
It is making her as bitter old woman & may cost her the relationship with her son's family. |

Do I respect my ex's? Absolutely! The same wonderful qualities that attracted me are still there. |

No, I don't. This includes the two ex-husbands as well.

I get along great with my ex. I have nothing bad to say about her at all. Just differnt people with differnt dreams and expectations.

jtip ~ my remarks were not directed at you, just general observations. Sounds like you've been mature about things with the ex-wife. Important when children are involved! Don't worry. Didn't even think your remarks were towards me. |

GUESS IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE REASON WHY THEY ARE EXES.
AM I CIVIL, I AM CIVIL TO EVERYONE; DONT HAVE TO LIKE HIM NOR BE HIS FRIEND, BUT WILL ALWAYS BE CIVIL UNLESS PROVOKED |

in truth i have had 4 relationships that failed ever since i started my construction/traveling career..it suckes but the ladies know what kind of man that i am before they put thier shoe's under my bed...but i am happy to say that not only do we still respect each other,i still call them..not at the same time of course..but i call them up whenever i come back into town..we are all still very close

Respect him???? No way...... He took in our older daughter and for that I say thank you, we have our differences in who is the rule-maker her and I, but in the same process he has stopped talking to our younger daughter. It has been 14 months and he has called her maybe, three times.

i have no respect for any of them.. Well, I can certainly understand if cute little devil was named after his dad. he wasnt.. |

Have to see mine because of the grandbabies birthdays and such. His wife and I get along great. He won't look me in the eye to this day. Do I take it personally? No. I have moved on and forgave, he can not.

I believe in forgiveness but when someone is constantly trying to control you and treat you like dirt, it is better to forget about them and move on. I have forgiven him but still want absolutely nothing to do with him.
