“What a Day!”


Here comes the sun.
So let’s go out and have some fun.
Just let the sun warm your face.
As we go to this happy place.
Were the forest is green.
What a beautiful scene.
As we listen to the birds sing.
And the sounds they bring.
We watch a fawn.
That is down by the brook at the break of dawn.
It gets a drink of the cool clear water.
A spider that is sitting in his web he just weaved.
He waits for his next meal to be received.
There we can see fish swimming up spring to spawn.
As they almost touch the nose of the fawn.
She watches with ease.
They seem to enjoy the tease.
She watches with her big brown eyes.
One little brave one gives a big surprise.
She came right up to the fawn as if to give her a kiss.
Then quickly flips out of the water and did not miss.
Right on the nose with that kiss there was no doubt.
That was one very fast trout.
Up spring she swam with ease.
Knowing she did that with expertise.
She swam up spring.
Wonder what else nature would bring.
Here along her way.
On this wonderful day.

I loved this. Made me want to put on my mitties and go for a long walk in the woods........

That rawked Kristi, I saw the whole thing, that brought the biggest smile to my face...awwwwh!!!
