Anyone gonna go see it . I am , just curious to see what is attacking New York . A friend told me it's like a Godzilla movie . But i hope it's something like that .

no, it's 3 giant alien squid like things, suppossidly a take of of hp lovecrafts dagon or cthulu. you can find the story line ont he net if you wann read more. i looked it up to find out what it was all about a few days ago.

I don't care what is attacking. Movie looks like it will be good and JJ Abrams is producing it, so I am stoked.

i might be off about this..but from the previews that i ahve seen on television..to me it seems as though it has a BLAIR WITCH PROJECT THING GOING FOR IT...you know how the movie looked like it was filmed entirely with a cam corder for that different effect?...is my assessment accurate?

ahaa so then it wasn't my imagination then...ABRAMSis a great film maker but this was the reason whi blair witch didnt make..it made box office hits sure but that was mainly due to hype that pre-dated the opening..and then it died ..booom..

I bought BWP when it was like $5, haven't watched it on DVD yet.
I saw it in theatres with everyone else. I thought it was good all the way thru... til the end. Thats where the disappointment lies, I couldn't tell what the heck happened, what was I looking at when they entered the house. Now I need to go open up that DVD and see :P lol.

But yeah, I noticed CLOVERFIELD having that same camcorder realness and no star actors that i could see. I heard the same thing about it being another Godzilla movie but if it were, I don't think they'd name the movie Cloverfield.

i watched the trailer over & over again and you can see the big monster , that looks JUST LIKE GODZILLA , but it is really hard to tell , but it's diffently big like godzilla .

Pause the trailer in use the arrow keys left & right key's to play the trailer frame by frame , then you get to the part where you see it off in the Distents .
