Maybe most people aren't meant to be alone but I am. I don't need complete happiness I guess, just a tiny fraction of it which I get from my family and friends. I've always been a loner, seems plausible I always will be. Truthfully I'm just FUBAR, can't see subjecting someone to me for the rest of his life so I remain alone. But I'm damn skippy in my own little world. so I wish y'all would stop insisting that I need my other half to be completely happy.

I am whole on my own, but I would like to find the man God intends me to be with. It's only natural to want to have that special person in your life to grow old with.

Huh, I am new here and was thinking of posting something along the lines of "why are you here?"...but thinking that had probably been done before...and then saw this post.
I was wondering if I could even answer that myself though...why am I here?
I'm not sure of the term...'other half'...but looking for someone to compliment my life - not complicate it.

Single life and coupledom (is that a word?!) both have their pros and cons. Maybe just reaching that point in my life where it would be nice to have someone to come home with and wake up with every day, to share the highs and the lows and bring out the best of every day. (oh yeah and to fix the dang door and change the oil in my car!)

I am looking for a friend. I do get lonely, but if I focus on that fact (by looking for the love of my life) I will only be lonelier.
I think that before I can find the Mr. right, I have to find happiness, which right now I have almost found. I have been less depressed in the past few months than I have been in the past 15 years.
